Our Ludwig Bamberger Haus in the Berliner Strasse in Mainz's Oberstadt district enjoys the advantages of both a green suburban location and proximity to the city centre. The bicycle is the means of transport of choice here: in about 15 minutes you can reach all the important universities - the Johannes Gutenberg University, the University of Applied Science, the Catholic University, the Academy of Fine Arts - as well as the Central Library. It's only 10 minutes to the university hospital. In a quarter of an hour you can also be in the old town with the famous cathedral, where many charming restaurants and bars promise perfect evenings. The same distance holds true for the banks of the river Rhine and the two spacious green areas: the Volkspark and the Stadtpark. But you will also find natural open spaces in the immediate vicinity for outdoor sports and relaxed summer evenings. Thanks to the excellent access to the tram, you can of course get to where you want to go quickly without a bike - and the nearest supermarket (with student-friendly opening hours until 10 p.m.) is within walking distance anyway!

In a nutshell: An offer from ‘SMARTis for SMARTis’ that we support! How about, for example, a sports group that meets for kicking, table tennis, jogging or Pilates? Or for a regular event in the community room where you cook, play, discuss homework, rehearse for presentations, talk about anything and everything or watch movies together?
