To live even closer to the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is quite impossible! From our Karl Wolfskehl Haus in Stephan Strasse you can reach all MINT departments within a few minutes on foot. To TU Darmstadt you cycle - depending upon the respective department - in 10-15 minutes. It is only five minutes to the main train station or to the attractive city centre with the Luisen Center shopping Paradise and numerous trendy cafés and popular bars. You want to go green? The Akaziengarten (Acacia Garden), laid out in 1817, is your spot for outdoor learning sessions, athletic exercise or mild summer evenings. More extensive parks - Botanischer Garten, Rosenhöhe or the Lichtwiese landscape park featuring many sports facilities - are only 10-15 minutes away by bike. The nearest supermarket (with student-friendly opening hours until 10 p.m.) is even within walking distance!

What can I inspect in the Property in advance?

Generally, visits are difficult for us to arrange as all apartments are let and we need the consent of the tenant in each case.So we cannot promise to show an apartment. However, you can always obtain a general overview of our property.Please contact the appropriate in-house technician directly for an inspection of the facility.

Are there bicycle parking places?

We offer accommodation not only for you personally, but also for your bike, incidentally almost always roofed.

When can I move in?

In order to move into your apartment, the following requirements must be met:

a.) The Tenancy Agreement must be signed (complete with Cancellation Policy and SEPA debit mandate).

b.) The first rent plus the deposit must be credited to the SMARTments accounts no later than 14 days before the start of the rental period.Once the money has been paid, you can make an appointment with the in-house technician to receive the keys.
